Nicholas Mullis Motorcycle Accident Rome GA Obituary, Beloved Resident Died in crash

Mr. Nicholas Scott Mullis, age 27, of Silver Creek, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and is being lovingly remembered as someone whose life was defined by service, generosity, and deep faith. His passing has left his family, friends, coworkers, and church community grieving the loss of a remarkable young man who impacted many lives in a short time.

Nick was born in Rome on July 21, 1998, the son of Michael Scott Mullis and Stacey Ann Bristol Mullis. He was a 2016 honors graduate of Model High School and later pursued technical training, earning his Electrical Line Worker Certification from Georgia Northwestern Technical College. He dedicated the past five years of his career to working as an electrical line worker, most recently with DLC Utility Group, where he was respected for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Nick was also a devoted member of HIS Church, where his faith played an important role in his life and relationships. Those who knew him describe a man whose actions consistently reflected his beliefs—humble, compassionate, and always willing to serve others without hesitation.

Beyond his professional life, Nick was known as a “jack-of-all-trades” who could fix almost anything. Whether it was carpentry, automotive work, or household repairs, he was always ready to help. Friends and family often called on him for assistance, and he rarely refused, often dropping everything to lend a hand. His willingness to serve others became one of his most defining qualities.

Nick had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether fishing, kayaking, or hunting, he found peace and joy in nature, often describing it as his favorite place to be. He also had a strong bond with his animals, who were an important part of his daily life and brought him great comfort and companionship.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jhaylan Alona Redwine-Mullis, whom he cherished deeply, as well as his paternal grandparents and great-grandmother. The reunion of the two in faith has brought comfort to those who believe in their eternal peace.

Nick is survived by his parents, Stacey and Michael Mullis; his brother Lucas Lamar Mullis; his grandmother Sheri Leigh Baker; aunt Rachel Lynn Boyd; uncle Dr. Daniel Mullis (Jennifer); his cherished animals; and many cousins and extended family members who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with visitation prior to the service. Honorary pallbearers will gather to pay tribute to a life marked by loyalty, service, and unwavering kindness.
